The international astronomical union downgraded the status of Pluto to that of dwarf planet b'se it did not meet the
3 criteria the IAU uses to define full sized planet essentiallypluto meets all criteria except one "has not cleared it's neighboring region of other objects" the two criteria meet by Pluto are @ it is orbit around the sun @ has sufficient mass to assume hydrostatic equilibrium.
@chopa pluto lack to be considered as the planet due to the following characteristics
1. Orbiting the sun
2. Rounded shape,it means that is not perfect sphere like some of large planet , but its gravity pull it into aspheroidal shape .
3. Cleared its orbit,one of the more controversial characteristic is whether pluto has cleared its orbit.
